Notifii is designed to be used by anyone that receives packages at a central location for redistribution to end-recipients.
Specifically, Notifii APT is designed for apartment communities, multi-family properties, residential buildings/towers, condominium/homeowner associations, and student housing properties. Notifii EDU is designed for college/university mailrooms and residence hall mailrooms/service desks. Notifii INC is designed for corporate mailrooms.
If you want to print package tags (optional), you will need a thermal label printer.
If you want to capture an esignature proof of pickup (optional), you will need a signature pad or touchscreen device.
If you want to capture a card-swipe proof of pickup (optional, great for college/university environments), you will need a magnetic stripe card reader.
You can also just use an iPad and do all the logging from the iPad. In that scenario, you won't need any equipment for the computer.
We recommend the DYMO 450 Turbo thermal label printer for most users. You can buy one from Amazon or a local office supply store for $80-$100. This model prints a maximum label size of 2.25 inches by 4 inches.
If you need to print larger labels or want a heavy-duty model, we recommend the Zebra GK420d. This model cost about $350-$375 and can print a maximum label size of 4 inches by 6 inches.
If you already have another brand/model label printer, that should work fine as well.
For the DYMO 450 printer, you will need DYMO 30256 compatible labels. These labels cost about $3.00 per roll of 300 labels, plus shipping.
For the Zebra, any 1" core direct thermal labels will work. The Zebra-compatible labels do not have numerical part numbers, just choose a size that meets your needs (we support 4"x3", 4"x4", 4"x6").
